Sweet Jesus! Hope saying that on Ash Wednesday doesn't get me excommunicated.
Can All-Star Tiddlywinks and Extreme Voice Of The Mummy be far behind?

Personally, I'm waiting for All-Star Parcheesi and The $1,000,000 Pokemon Card Game.

Not to mention, it probably won't be too long before we hear about a pilot for "All-Star Go Fish".
There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: Religion, politics, and the proper wrapping of microphone cables.

Or maybe "Live Action Yu-Gi-Oh!"?  [The Japanese animated adventure card game cartoon becomes a game played by real people]

Or even the Scrabble Masters Tournament...oh wait, it was aired once before on ESPN.

Jonathan Allen, hoping "UNO Card Sharks" doesn't go forward

The moose lodge joke is enough to make this a Line Of The Day. Whether it's a diagonal, vertical, or horizontal line is up to you.

I'm waiting for The $50,000 Sleeper myself. The host is everyone's favorite sleeper, Paris Hilton. The more articles of clothing removed, the less money you get. Anyone smart enough to take off the blindfold first wins the $50,000.

This game requires common sense, so recruiting will start at the Wheel Of Fortune contestant offices.

Ah, come on... it's not as bad as all that!  9-Ball is an established feature on ESPN (well, ESPN2, mostly) -- where are the posters yelling "Wait until it actually airs!"?

All this does is show the sad state of ESPN.

Granted, ESPN hasn't been quite the same the last few years.  But, billiards has always been at the very least a timekiller -- either on ESPN or ESPN2.

I can remember watching part of a billiards tourney in the late '80s.

ESPN2 does do several hours of coverage of the National Spelling Bee on day two of the finals in late May/early June. I give them credit for airing something like that.

What about "Celebrity Dominoes".  No wait....that's already been tried on Canadian television!

I can't understand what is going on with ESPN having pool, chess, checkers, Scrabble and spelling bees. They're a sports network! That's one of the main problems I've got with that (SPELLING IS NOT A SPORT!). Stick to sports (though keep the World Series of Poker).

I can't honestly see why someone would make a show out of billiards, but the truth is, it is GSN after all, and look at what they've become over the span of a year and change.

Such is life...next thing you know, they'll have Championship Magic: The Gathering, followed by Extreme D&D and Celebrity Risk.
